SW1/2 Assign

You can assign the following functions to [SW1] and [SW2].
Make the SW1 and SW2 settings in each mode.
• Program: P-INPUT/CTRL> CONTROLLERS page (see page
5)
• Combination: C–INPUT/CTRL> CONTROLLERS page (see
page 74)
• Song (Sequencer): S–INPUT/CTRL> CONTROLLERS page
(see page 112)
Note: In Program mode, Combination mode, and Sequencer mode,
these settings are made individually for each program,
combination, and song.
SW1, SW2 Assign List
Off
SW1 Mod.: #80
SW2 Mod.: #81
Porta. SW: #65
Octave Down
Octave Up
Pitch Bend Lock
SW1 Mod.: #80 (SW1 Modulation: CC#80)
SW2 Mod.: #81 (SW2 Modulation: CC#81)
This function differs between SW1 and SW2; SW1 transmits
CC#80, and SW2 transmits CC#81.
Porta. SW: #65 (Porta. SW: CC#65)
If Oscillator Mode (see page 7) is Single, turning the switch on
(LED lit) will apply portamento regardless of the Enable (see
page 17) setting; portamento will not apply when the switch is off
(LED unlit).
If Oscillator Mode is Double, and the Enable setting is the same
for both oscillators 1 and 2 (i.e., enabled or disabled for both
oscillators 1 and 2), turning the switch on (LED lit) will apply
portamento to oscillators 1 and 2; portamento will not apply to
oscillators 1 and 2 when the switch is off (LED unlit).
If the Enable setting differs between OSC1 and 2 (i.e., if oscillator
1 is enabled and oscillator 2 disabled, or if oscillator 1 is disabled
and oscillator 2 is enabled), then turning the switch on (LED lit)
will apply portamento to the oscillator that is enabled; portamento
will not apply to oscillators 1 and 2 when the switch is off (LED
unlit).
300
No function.
Select this if you want to use a switch
as an AMS or Dmod source. In this
case, you must first specify the
control destination. CC#80 (or
CC#81) is transmitted each time the
switch is turned on/off. Off: 0, On:
127)
Portamento is applied when you
press SW1 (or SW2) to turn it on
(LED lit). CC#65 is transmitted each
time you turn the switch on/off. (Off:
0, On: 127)
One octave down alternates with the
original octave setting each time you
press SW1 (or SW2). (One octave
down when the LED is lit)
One octave up alternates with the
original octave setting each time you
press SW1 (or SW2). (One octave up
when the LED is lit)
Locks the effect of the pitch bend
wheel.
Pitch Bend Lock
The switch will change the locked/unlocked state of the pitch bend
wheel (locked when the LED is lit).
If you turn Lock on while using the pitch bend wheel, the effect
will be locked at that position of the controller.
For example if SW1 Assign is set to Pitch Bend Lock, and you
move the pitch bend wheel away from yourself and turn SW1 on,
the pitch bend wheel effect will be locked (held) at the position
where you moved it; even if you release your hand from the pitch
bend wheel, the pitch bend will remain applied.
If you lock the pitch bend wheel, MIDI transmission of the
corresponding controller will also stop, but reception will still
occur.
