Audio Recorder
Auto (Auto Rec Start)
[Off, Note-On, SEQ START, Input Low, Input High]
Specifies how recording will be started automatically.
Specify the operation that will initiate recording after you've
pressed the Rec Control
record-standby condition (the AUDIO REC
PAUSE) button: blinking orange).
Off: Press the Rec Control
REC
(PLAY/PAUSE) to start recording.
Note-On: Recording will start when you play the keyboard.
SEQ START: Recording will start when you press the
SEQUENCER
Input Low: Recording will start when the audio input level
exceeds approximately –18 dB.
Input High: Recording will start when the audio input level
exceeds approximately –6 dB.
Note: If you've specified Input Low or Input High, play back, and
then press the Rec Control
the location where you want to start overdubbing. You'll enter the
record-standby condition (AUDIO RECORDER button: blinking
orange), and the audio input from 0.2 seconds earlier than the
moment you started recording will actually be recorded.
If you've specified Input Low or Input High, initiate
recording slightly before the location where you want
recording to begin.
Note: This Auto (Auto Rec Start) setting is linked with the Auto
Rec Start setting of the GLOBAL> PREF page. The setting is
remembered automatically.
LOOP
There's a loop playback function that lets you repeatedly play a
specified region (A–B) of an audio song.
On (checked): The A-B region will loop.
Note: The loop play on/off setting and the specified time are saved
individually for each audio song.
It's not possible to record while LOOP has a check mark. Nor
is it possible to add a check mark to LOOP during recording.
This setting will be saved to the SD card when you switch to
a different audio song or when you turn off the power. If you
remove the SD card immediately after select the setting, the
setting will not be saved.

These specify the beginning (point A) and end (point B) of the
region that will play repeatedly when Loop is on. From the left,
this shows hours, minutes, and seconds. To specify the loop
region, set the beginning (point A) and end (point B) of the loop.
Note: The interval between points A and B will be at least three
seconds.
Tip: Move the cursor to A or B, and press the ENTER button
during playback; the current time location will be specified as a
point. If you use this method to specify the time location of a
point, the location will be specified with an accuracy of within one
second.

PAGE– (UNDO) button
Shows the UNDO dialog box. Here you can step back to an earlier
recording take. You'll also use this button for the Redo function
which brings back a recorded take.
1. Press the PAGE- (UNDO) button.
The UNDO dialog box will appear.
2. Select a take number.
3. Press the OK button.
The take will be switched when the dialog box closes.
When you execute Undo, the UNDO button will be highlighted.
Note: If you record in this state, the Redo data will be lost and the
UNDO button will return to its original appearance.
