Pad Sampler : FUNCTION

Procedure for each function
1. Press the FUNCTION button to open the function list.
2. Adjust settings in the dialog box.
For details on the settings in each dialog box, refer to the
explanation of each function.
Press the OK button to execute, or press the Cancel button if
you decide not to execute.

Import WAV
This imports a WAVE file from the DATA folder of the SD card as
a sample.
Note: The length of a WAVE file that can be imported is the first
14 seconds or less from the beginning of the file.
Note: The format of WAVE files that can be imported is as
follows.
• File format: WAVE format uncompressed linear PCM
• Sampling bit depth: 16-bit
• Sampling frequency: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, stereo files
1. If necessary, assign a name to the sample.
You can enter up to 16 characters. see page 124 of the Operation
guide.
2. Use Level Adjust to compensate the volume.
You can compensate the volume in a range of -96–+96.
Load Session
This loads a session from the SD card.
Session No.: The session that will be loaded. Select the session
that you want to load.
Create New Session
This creates a new session on the SD card.
Note: The number of the newly created session will follow the
highest number that exists on the SD card.

Copy Sample
This copies the sampler settings of the currently selected pad to the
clipboard for temporary storage. When the copy is completed, the
display indicates "Copy Sample Completed," and you return to the
SAMPLER SETUP window.
Paste Sample
When you execute this function, the pad sampler settings that were
copied to the clipboard using Copy Sample are pasted to the
currently selected pad. If the selected pad already has a sample, it
is overwritten.
Select the desired paste-destination pad, and then select Paste
Sample from the function list.
Paste Sample: This is the copy-source pad. This shows the bank
and pad number that were selected when you executed Copy
Sample.
To: This is the copy-destination pad. This shows the currently
selected bank and pad number.
Insert Sample
When you execute this function, the sampler settings that were
copied to the clipboard are inserted before the currently selected
pad.
Note: Sampler settings of the pads following the insert location are
pushed back by one pad, and if there is an Empty pad between
them, it will be filled.
Note: If the bank contains no Empty pad following the insert
location, it is not possible to insert the copy. Use the Delete
Sample function to create an empty space, and then execute this
function again.
Delete Sample
This function deletes the sample that is assigned to the currently
selected pad.
If All Samples in Bank is turned on, all samples of the currently
selected bank are deleted.
Note: It is not possible to return the deleted samples to their
original state. If necessary, use the Copy Sample command etc. to
copy them to other pads. (See Copy Sample)
