Favorites: Function

For details on how to select each function, see "Selecting and
executing functions" on page 14 of the Operation Guide
Write Favorites
Be sure to save the favorites settings that you want to keep.
The edited favorites settings cannot be recovered if you turn
off the power before saving them.
This function saves all favorite settings in internal memory.
Edit Favorite
This function lets you edit the settings of the selected favorite.
"Select" specifies whether the favorite will be a sound (a program
or combination) of the internal sound generator, or a sound of an
external device.
Sound Setting
Select: Internal
The registered program or combination will be enabled. Use this
setting when you want to use the keyboard of the KROSS to play a
program or combination.
If the Favorites function is on, pressing a button 1–16 will transmit
a program change on the global MIDI channel. (see "Favorites and
MIDI" on page 187)
Select: External MIDI
Ch: The external MIDI device will be controlled on the MIDI
channel that you specify here. If the Favorites function is on,
pressing a button 1–16 will transmit the following settings on the
MIDI channel specified by "Ch."
PrgChg: MIDI program change
Send Bank Select: If this is checked, the bank select messages
specified by MSB and LSB will be transmitted. If this is not
checked, bank select messages will not be transmitted.
Sound Setting
This specifies the sound that will be played if Internal is selected.
You can use the PROG or COMBI buttons to switch the mode
that's used.
OK, CANCEL
Press the OK button to register the settings; the edit dialog box
will close.
Copy Favorite
This function copies the selected favorite to the clipboard, holding
it temporarily.
Favorites: Function 0–1: 1–4, 5–8, 9–12, 13–16
Insert Favorite
This function inserts the favorite that you copied to the clipboard
in front of the selected favorite.
Note: All favorites existing after the position where you inserted
will be moved back one space within that bank. The favorite at the
last position in the bank (16) will be deleted.
Delete Favorite
This function deletes the selected favorite.
Note: All favorites existing after the one you deleted will be
moved forward one space within that bank. The last position in the
bank (16) will become an initialized favorite.
If you execute this function with the All Favorites check box
selected, all favorites will be deleted, and will become initialized
favorites.
Copy Favorite Bank
This function copies the settings of another favorites bank to the
currently selected favorites bank.
Use the From field to specify the copy-source.
