Pad audio play

Audio Play Setup

The AUDIO PLAY SETUP window lets you access various
settings for pad audio play.
Hold down the EXIT (
PLAY ACTIVE (
SETUP window.
Pad No.
This is the bank and number indication. The bank and number of
the pad are shown.
Audio Song
This is the number and name of the assigned audio song. If no
song is assigned, this indicates EMPTY.

Audio Song Setup
In the AUDIO SONG SETUP window you can make settings to
specify how the audio song will play.
• When the AUDIO PLAY SETUP window is shown, press the
MENU (EDIT) button to open the AUDIO SONG SETUP
window.
Pad BANK/Number
This is the bank and number of the currently selected pad.
Audio Take
[NEW, Currently No./Multi-track No.]
New: This is the state in which no recording has occurred.
Currently No./Multi-track No.: When you record, the currently
selected take is shown at the left, and the number of overdubs is
shown at the right. You can use Undo to return to a previous
recording.
Time Location
This indicates the location in the audio song. From the left, this
shows hours, minutes, and seconds. Press the MENU (Start)
button to start playback. During playback, you can press PAGE+
(Stop/Reset) button to stop and return to the location at which
playback began (except when resuming from pause). While
stopped, you can press the PAGE+ (Stop/Reset) button to move to
the beginning of the song (0:00:00). To move the location, use the
cursor buttons to select Time Location, and then press the ENTER
button (▲▼ symbols are shown beside the value). Use the cursor
left/right buttons or the VALUE dial to enter the value, and press
the ENTER button to move.
Status
This indicates the pad audio play status, such as playing or
stopped.

Level Meter
OUTPUT: This shows the level of the sound that is being output
to L/R (the sound of the KROSS, external audio input, audio
recorder playback).
Audio Song
[000...199: Audio Song Name/Media Info.]
This selects the song. WAVE files on the SD card are also shown
in the list; if you select a file, it will be registered as a new song.
When you open the popup, the bank and pad number are shown
following the song name that is currently registered for pad audio
play. The following messages related to the SD card are also
shown.
NO MEDIA: No SD card is inserted.
UNFORMATTED: The format of the SD card cannot be
detected.
NO AUDIO SONG: There is no audio song.
Note: If you attempt to record or write to the SD card when the SD
card is locked (write-protected), the separate error message
"Media write protected" appears.
LOOP
This repeatedly plays the specified region (A-B) of the audio song.
On (checked): The A-B region will loop.
The loop playback on/off setting and the specified times are saved
for each individual audio song. Different settings for the same
[0:00:00...2:59:59]
