The following table describes the variables and values for modifying a RIP interface.

Type the retry count value to update request and update response packet.
The value ranges between 10 and 40.
The default value is 36.
Type the default metric value to set the metric for redistributing routes.
The value ranges between 1 and 16.
The default value is 1.
Action
From the BSG navigation pane, select Configuration, IP Routing, RIP,
Interfaces tab.
The RIP Interfaces panel appears.
From the Interface list, select the interface you want to configure.
Click ADD.
Value
Specifies the interface ID for the RIP that you want to configure.
Value
Select an interface on which you want to enable RIP.
Displays the IP address of the interface ID to modify.
