Note: The address pool cannot be in the same subnet as DHCP addresses.

The following table describes the variables and values for configuring the VPN address pool.

Value
Type the user name.
The range is 1 to 31 characters.
Type the password for the user.
The range is 1 to 31 characters.
Action
From the BSG navigation pane, select Configuration, VPN, Users, Address
Pool tab.
The IP Address Pool for VPN Remote Users pane appears.
In the Pool Name field, enter the pool name.
In the Start IP Address field, enter the starting IP address for the address pool.
In the End IP Address field, enter the ending IP address for the address pool.
Click Apply.
Value
Type the name of the address pool. Addresses within the pool are
allocated to remote users when they make VPN connection requests.
Type the first IP address of the pool.
Type the last IP address of the pool.
