5.4 Collecting IPv6 Traffic Statistics

This section describes how to collect statistics about IPv6 traffic passing through an interface.

5.4.1 Establishing the Configuration Task

Applicable Environment
To collect statistics about incoming and outgoing IPv6 packets on an interface, configure the
NetStream for IPv6 original traffic. The statistics result is sent to the Network Management
System (NMS). By analyzing the traffic statistics, the NMS obtains the traffic information for
you to effectively manage the network.

Before configuring NetStream for IPv6 original traffic, complete the following tasks:
