Configuring Layer 3 Flow Import on the SPU with Interfaces Aggregated
This section describes how to configure Layer 3 flow import on the SPU in interface aggregation
mode.

Step 1 Configure an Eth-Trunk interface.

Issue 01 (2012-03-15)
The link type of the Eth-Trunk interface is configured.
Run the corresponding command according to the link type to add the Eth-Trunk interface
to the VLANs created in step
l Run the port default vlan vlan-id command to configure the default VLAN to which
the Access Eth-Trunk interface is added.
l For the Hybrid Eth-Trunk interface:
– Run the port hybrid tagged vlan { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2] }&<1-10> command to
add the hybrid interface to the VLAN in tagged mode.
– Run the port hybrid untagged vlan { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] }&<1-10> command
to add the hybrid interface to the VLAN in untagged mode.
l Run the port trunk allow-pass vlan { { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] }&<1-10> | all }
command to configure the VLAN to which the Trunk Eth-Trunk interface is added.
Run:
quit
Exit from the Eth-Trunk interface view.
NOTE
In this document, incoming data flows refer to the flows sent from an LPU to the SPU, and outgoing data
flows refer to the flows sent from the SPU to an LPU.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Run:
interface eth-trunk trunk-id
The Eth-Trunk interface view is displayed.
Run:
trunkport xgigabitethernet { interface-number1 [ to interface-number2 ] }
&<1-8>
Two virtual interfaces on the SPU configured as the member interfaces of the Eth-Trunk
interface.
Run:
quit
Exit from the Eth-Trunk interface view.
