Run:
interface eth-trunk trunk-id.subtrunk-id
The Eth-Trunk sub-interface view is displayed. Traffic is imported to the SPU through the
Eth-Trunk sub-interface.
Run:
control-vid vid dot1q-termination
The VLAN to which the Eth-Trunk sub-interface belongs is specified, and the encapsulation
mode of the Eth-Trunk sub-interface is configured.
Run:
dot1q termination vid low-pe-vid [ to high-pe-vid ]
The sub-interface is configured to allow the VLAN for incoming data flows, which is
configured in
Step 1.11
with Interfaces Aggregated."
Run:
ip address ip-address { mask | mask-length } [ sub ]
An IP address is configured for the Eth-Trunk sub-interface. The Eth-Trunk sub-interface
is on the same network segment as the VLANIF interface configured in
"Configuring Layer 3 Flow Import on the S9700 Switch with Interfaces Aggregated."
Run:
arp broadcast enable
The ARP broadcast function is enabled on the Eth-Trunk sub-interface.
When you enable or disable the ARP broadcast function on a sub-interface, the routing
status on the sub-interface becomes Down and then Up. This may result in route flapping
on the entire network, affecting the service operation.
Run:
quit
Exit from the Eth-Trunk sub-interface view.
Run:
interface eth-trunk trunk-id.subtrunk-id
The Eth-Trunk sub-interface view is displayed. Traffic is exported from the SPU through
the Eth-Trunk sub-interface.
Run:
control-vid vid dot1q-termination
The VLAN to which the Eth-Trunk sub-interface belongs is specified, and the encapsulation
mode of the sub-interface is configured.
Run:
dot1q termination vid low-pe-vid [ to high-pe-vid ].
The sub-interface is configured to allow the VLAN for outgoing flows, which is configured
in
Step 2.1
of section "Configuring Layer 3 Flow Import on the S9700 Switch with
Interfaces Aggregated."
