Configuring Layer 3 Flow Import on the SPU Without Interface Aggregation
This section describes how to configure Layer 3 flow import on the SPU without interface
aggregation.

Step 1 Import data flows.

l If the interface is a hybrid interface:
– Run the port hybrid tagged vlan { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] }&<1-10> command to
add the interface to the VLAN in tagged mode.
– Run the port hybrid untagged vlan { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] }&<1-10> command
to add the interface to the VLAN in untagged mode.
l If the interface is a trunk interface, run the port trunk allow-pass vlan { { vlan-id1
[ to vlan-id2 ] }&<1-10> | all command to add the interface to the VLAN.
Run:
quit
Exit from the virtual XGE interface view.
NOTE
In this document, incoming data flows refer to the flows sent from an LPU to the SPU, and outgoing data
flows refer to the flows sent from the SPU to an LPU.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Run:
interface xgigabitethernet interface-number.subinterface-number
The sub-interface view is displayed. Traffic is imported to the SPU through this sub-
interface.
Run:
control-vid vid dot1q-termination
The VLAN to which the sub-interface belongs is specified, and the encapsulation mode of
the sub-interface is configured.
Run:
dot1q termination vid low-pe-vid [ to high-pe-vid ]
The sub-interface is configured to allow the VLAN configured in
"Configuring Layer 3 Flow Import on the S9700 Switch Without Interface Aggregation."
Run:
ip address ip-address { mask | mask-length } [ sub ]
