Negative
When you select negative, instead of flashing channels to their high
level to create an effect, channels remain at their high levels and
flash to their low level to create the effect.
Alternate
This modifier alternates playing the steps back in standard and
negative modes .
Build
The build modifier starts each sequence by setting all channels at
their low levels . Each step flashes to full and stays there until the
beginning of the next sequence playback.
15. Press [Rec], enter cue number, and press [Enter] to record the
effects cue.
16. Play back an effects cue as you would a normal cue; press [Stage]
[Cue], enter effect number, and press either [Go].
When you play back an effects cue, the left fader of the fader pair (A
or C) controls intensity levels . The right fader of the pair (either B or
D) controls the playback rate . When you begin an effect with the
right fader at 10, Expression plays it back at the recorded rate; the
LED strip indicates 50 percent on the right fader .
To take manual control of the playback rate, move the fader to 50
percent . Then move the fader up or down to adjust rate; 10 is
instantaneous playback through steps and 0 stops playback .
If right fader is set at any level other than 10 when you start the
effect, it plays back at that adjusted rate.
