Creating a multipart cue

Follow these steps to create a multipart cue:
1. Press [Stage]. Expression displays the Stage mode screen and
prompts you to enter a channel number.
2. Enter channel number(s) for the first part with numeric keypad.
3. Set intensity levels by pressing [At] and entering a two-digit level,
moving the fader wheel, or pressing [+] and [-].
4. Press [Rec]; then enter the number of the cue you wish to record
with the numeric keypad.
5. Press [Step/Part]; then enter the number of the part you wish to
create with the numeric keypad. Parts can be assigned numbers one
through eight and can be created in any sequence you like.
6. Press [Enter].
7. Press [Time] if you want to assign upfade, downfade and/or wait
times to the part.
Note: If you do not assign times to a part, Expression will automati-
cally assign five second upfade and downfade times to it. No wait
time will be recorded.
8. Enter an upfade time between .1 second and 99:59 minutes and
press [Enter]. You can enter time either in minutes and seconds, or
as a fraction of a second in decimal format. For example, all of the
following are acceptable: .2, 00:12, 5.5, 5:30.
9. Enter a downfade time, if different from the upfade time you se-
lected. If you do not enter a time, Expression assumes you want the
same time.
