Using Group
If you have combinations of channels you use often to create looks, you
can save time by using [Group] to record them at a proportional levels.
Once it is recorded, a group can be combined with other channels to
create cues, submasters or effects. Unlike a cue, a group cannot be
played back through a fader or potentiometer .
Group numbers are independent of cue numbers; however, each group
stored is included in the 400 cue memory limit . Therefore, the sum of
cues and groups cannot exceed 400 . You can use numbers from 1 to
999.
Naming groups with expanded memory
If you have installed the expanded memory and alphanumeric keyboard
options, you can assign names to groups. See page 7 - 4 for more
information.
