Selecting channels, cues or dimmers with [Except]
When you are selecting channels for a look, cues in the Track Sheet, or
dimmers on the patch screen, use [Except] to exclude a subset of the
items (channels, cues or dimmers) already selected . Follow these steps
to exclude items.
1. When items are selected, press [Except].
2. Press any of the following key sequences to exclude a subset of
selected items.

3. Complete action with the remaining set of selected items . For
example, set channel levels or assign dimmers to channels.
Enter channel numbers . You can select groups of channels by
using [And] and [Thru].
Press the bump switch of any submasters whose channels you
do not want recorded with the look . You can press as many
bump switches as you want.
Enter channels included in cues or groups by pressing [Cue] or
[Group] and entering the cue or group number . To enter more
than one cue or group, press [And] between numbers.
