Bump switches
Bump switches push untimed submasters to 100 percent immediately
and hold them at that level for as long as you press the bump switch .
If the submaster has timed fades, pressing the bump switch initiates the
upfade . For timed submasters with no wait time, pressing and holding
bump switch initiates upfade; releasing the switch begins the downfade.
For submasters with programmed wait times, press and release bump
switch to initiate the upfade . Submaster plays with programmed upfade,
wait and downfade times . To reverse the direction of the fade, press
bump switch again . You can reverse a timed submaster during either its
upfade or its downfade . Pressing the bump switch during a wait will
interrupt the wait period and start the downfade.
When you press a bump switch, or when a timed submaster is playing
back, the LED flashes until you release the key or the fade is complete.
A lit green LED indicates that a regular submaster is recorded in that pot .
A lit red LED indicates that an inhibitive submaster is recorded in that
pot . If no LED is lit, a submaster has not been recorded in that pot.
Note: You can disable bump switches by selecting the Enable/Disable
option from the System Settings Menu. See the section titled Enable/
Disable bump switches on page 3 - 15 for more information.
