To Install an Insulation Cup on the Purged Packed Inlet

Maintaining Your GC
Gather the following:

• No-hole ferrule
• Column nut
Install a plug (for example, a column nut with no-hole

ferrule) in the inlet capillary adapter.
Push the cup spring to the right. Slide the cup over the inlet

fitting so that the insulation at the top of the cup is flush
against the oven roof.
Place the spring into the groove in the inlet liner. Remove the

column nut and no-hole ferrule.
