Updating the Management Blade firmware

Proceed as follows:
Ê Install and run your TFTP server software.
Ê Download the TFTP update package BX300_TFTP-IMAGES_<version>.exe
from the Fujitsu Siemens Download Server http://download.fujitsu-
siemens.com.
Ê Extract the desired firmware file (*.bin) to the TFTP file system root
directory. For information on image file names see the readme file of the
TFTP update package.
Ê Check the LAN connection by pinging the desired management blade.
Ê Update the management blade firmware.
There are two ways of doing so:
1. In the management console (Telnet) choose the TFTP Update submenu.
The update process takes place similarly to the process via management
blade WebUI (see below).
2. In the management blade WebUI choose: System Property–
Environ./Maintenance–Firmware Update–Management Blade.
