c. To remove the faulty DIMM do the following:

Caution – If you are not immediately inserting a replacement DIMM into the empty
DIMM socket, insert a DIMM filler panel in the socket to ensure adequate cooling
and reduce the possibility of a system shutdown. For instructions for installing a

i. Rotate both DIMM slot ejectors outward as far as they will go.
The DIMM is partially ejected from the socket (
