Note – Servicing some components requires that the server's front cover be
removed.
6.1.1

Install the Server Front Cover

1. Position the front cover over the front of the server so that there is about a 0.25
inch (6 mm) of clearance between the front edge of the cover and the front of
the server [1].
2. Slide the front cover toward the front of the server until the release levers on
the back of the front cover are fully engaged [2].
The release levers will click when they are fully engaged.

Installing the Server Top Cover

If you removed the top cover, perform the following procedure to replace it.
