Step 3 – Copy the current flash code
As a precautionary measure, you can make a copy of the current
library or Ethernet flash code. You can do this by using an FTP
command.
To copy the current flash code, follow these steps:
1. Create a directory named after the current (not the new) flash
2. Copy the current flash code from the library or Ethernet card
Step 4 – Rename the new flash code
Before you can transfer the new flash code to the library or
Ethernet card, you need to rename the new file so that the library
can recognize it when the file is transferred via FTP.
