Ejecting a cartridge from a tape drive

You may need to manually eject a cartridge from the tape drive
before replacing a drive, calibrating the library, or if a hardware
error occurs.
To eject a cartridge from the drive:
1. If security has been enabled, disable it (see
2. Unlock and open the library door.
3. Press the unload button on the right side of the tape drive's
4. Wait for the cartridge to eject, then remove the cartridge.
