Battery Pack
Removing the Battery Pack
To remove the battery pack, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-1.
1.
Turn off the power to the computer, then disconnect the AC adapter and all
external cables connected to the computer.
2.
Turn the computer over.
3.
Slide the battery cover to the right to unlatch it.
4.
Slide the battery out.
NOTE: For environmental reasons, do not throw away a spent battery pack.
Please return spent battery packs to Toshiba.
5.
With the battery cover in the locked position, push up on the straight end of the
cover, then slide the cover to free it from its latches.
