(d) Text Mode Stretch
Enables a larger display area of the screen.
(e) VGA Segment Address
Sets the VGA segment address.
NOTE: In the DOS environment, if you choose either E400H or
C000H, the Pop-up window is not displayed when you press the
Fn+F2 or Fn+F3 hot keys. However, the corresponding functions
of the keys work.
3. Password
Sets or resets the user password for power on and instant security.
For details on setting the user password, refer to the computer's User's Guide.
4. Hard Disk
Selects the hard disk mode.
To display the capacity of the hard disk, use the CHKDSK command. See
your DOS documentation for details on using CHKDSK.
700 Series
Enabled Enables the text mode stretch feature. (Default)
Disabled Disables the text mode stretch feature.
C000H
E000H (Default)
E400H
Registered The user password has been registered.
Not registered The user password has not been registered.
Enhanced IDE Select this mode when using MS-DOS
(Normal) Windows for Workgroups
or OS/2
Standard IDE Select this mode when using Novell
or UNIX
504MB is logically available even though the
disk's capacity may be larger than 504MB.
