Whether or not you need to configure the computer with these options
depends primarily on the kind of software or peripherals you use.
700 Series
Use this option to enable or disable the system automatic off
function in Resume mode when you are working in DOS. In Boot
mode, it is disabled and not displayed.
Disabled Disables the system automatic power off.
xx Min. Automatically turns off power to the system if
it is not used for the duration set. The dura-
tion xx can be set to 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60
minutes.
Use this option to set the level of brightness on the LCD.
Bright Full brightness for maximum visibility.
Semi-Bright Less than full brightness for saving power.
Performance If the CPU becomes too hot, the fan turns on
automatically. If the temperature is still too
high, the CPU processing speed is lowered.
When the CPU temperature falls to a normal
range, high-speed processing is resumed and
the fan is turned off.
Quiet If the CPU becomes too hot, the processing
speed is lowered. If the temperature is still too
high, the fan turns on. When the CPU
temperature falls to a normal range, the fan is
turned off and the processing speed is
increased.
