Alarm Configuration Commands

An alarm command executed in FTTH view will take effect on all the OLT ports of the system or all
the ONUs under the OLT;
An alarm command executed in OLT port view will take effect on the current port and all the ONUs
under it;
An alarm command executed in ONU port view will take effect only on the ONUs under the port.

Parameters
uplink: Specifies the monitor direction. Only uplink data will be monitored.
downlink: Specifies the monitor direction. Only downlink data will be monitored.
up-down-link: Specifies the monitor direction. Both uplink and downlink data between OLT and ONU
will be monitored.
threshold threshold: Specifies the alarm threshold of bit error rate. The threshold argument ranges

from 1 to 10
and defaults to 10 (in 10
Description
Use the alarm bit-error-rate command to configure the monitor direction and the alarm threshold of the
bit error rate.
Use the undo alarm bit-error-rate command to restore the default monitor direction and alarm
threshold.
