Details Displayed on the Main Display
The measured values always appear on the main display.
The measured values are initialized as follows:
• Reference value "0": Measurement center distance
• + display: NEAR (close range) side
• - display: FAR (far range) side
However, in the following cases, the measurement values are not displayed.
• When the amount of light received is inadequate, "DARK" is displayed; when the sensor is saturated,
"BRIGHT" is displayed.
• When there is no surface present to measure, "NO.SRFC" is displayed.
• When the white LED used for measuring is OFF, "LEDOFF" is displayed.
• When the measurement surface is far outside the measurement range or if no hold value is finalized when
hold is set, then "------" is displayed.
• When the Head adjustment is required, i.e. adding or changing the extension fiber cable, displays "H.CALIB".
