The steps are identical for both fork legs, except for the hydrostop needle and valve.

Pull sleeve

Remove spring

Remove seal rings (& and O-ring

Remove pilot bushings
Preparatory work

Disassemble the fork legs.(� p. 21)

Disassemble the cartridge.
Main work

Degrease hydrostop needle
tool.

Clamping stand (T1202S)

Release hydrostop needle
rod.
✓ Valve @ usually remains in the hydrostop needle.

Turn piston rod, degrease and clamp using the special tool.
