Engage the highest gear.

Turn the rear wheel until the engine is at ignition top dead
center.

cylinder head are lined up with each other.

Make sure that the crankshaft is at top dead cen­
ter.

Unscrew and remove screw

Remove washer
Mount and tighten screw
Check the valve clearance at all valves between the valve
and rocker arm.
Guideline
Valve clearance
Exhaust at: 20 °C
(68 °F)
Intake at: 20 °C (68 °F)
I Feeler gauge (59029041100)
If the valve clearance does not meet specifications:
-
Adjust the valve clearance.

Remove locking screw
-
Crank the engine several times.
-
Check the valve clearance and correct it if necessary.
-
Mount and tighten screw
