The operations are the same on both fork legs.

Grind the piston on both sides on a surfacing plate using
1200 grit sandpaper.

Clean the piston.
-
Lubricate the piston ring.

Fork oil (SAE 4) (48601166S1)

Mount the piston with chamfer
-
Mount rebound shim stack
upward.

Note the setting list.

Press the piston downward against the spring.
Info
Make sure the pistons do not squeeze the shims.

Position valve@ in hydrostop needle@). Mount and tighten
the hydrostop needle.
