Removing the shock absorber

Choose and mount a suitable spring.

Spring rate
Weight of rider: 65 ...
75 kg (143 ... 165 lb.)
Weight of rider: 75 ...
85 kg (165 ... 187 lb.)
Weight of rider: 85 ...
95 kg (187 ... 209 lb.)
Info
The spring rate is shown on the outside of the spring.
Smaller weight differences can be compensated by
changing the spring preload.
Finishing work

Install the shock absorber.

Install the manifold. (� p. 86)

Install the fuel tank. (11,) p. 101)

Mount the seat. (11,) p. 98)

Install the main silencer.

Install the right side cover.
-
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.

Check the static sag of the shock absorber.

Check the riding sag of the shock absorber.
-
Adjust the rebound damping of the shock absorber.

Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

Remove the right side cover.

Remove the main silencer.

the top.
