10 kΩ at 20 °C (68 °F)

6.Ignition coil resistance
Disconnect the ignition coil leads from
the ignition coil.
Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) to the
ignition coil.
Tester (+) lead → (+) Orange lead
Tester (–) lead → (–) Body earth
Check the primary coil for specified
resistance.
Primary coil resistance:
0.36 ~ 0.48 Ω at 20 °C (68 °F)
Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1 k) to the
ignition coil.
Tester (+) lead → Spark plug lead
Tester (–) lead → Body earth
Check the secondary coil for specified
resistance.
Secondary coil resistance:
5.44 ~ 7.36 kΩ at 20 °C (68 °F)
