NOTE:
When
installing
the
(right), make sure its projection fits into the
hole.
Install the master cylinder bracket with the
"UP" mark facing upward.
Tighten first the upper bolt, then the lower
bolt.
Bolt (master cylinder bracket):
7 Nm (0.7 m • kg, 5.1 ft • lb)
WARNING
Proper hose routing is essential to insure
safe
motorcycle
operation.
"CABLE ROUTING" in CHAPTER 2.
6.Adjust:
Clutch cable free play
Free play:
10 ~ 15 mm (0.4 ~ 0.6 in)
(at the lever end)
Refer to "CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT" in
CHAPTER 3.
Steering head
Reverse the "REMOVAL" procedure.
Note the following points.
1.Lubricate:
Bearing (upper 1 and lower)
Bearing races
Lithium soap base grease
2.Install:
Steering shaft 1
Washer 2
Cover 3
Washer 4
Ring nut 5
CAUTION:
Hold the steering shaft until it is secured.
