ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
12.Install:
Claw washer
Lock washer 1
Nut 2
NOTE:
Place a folded rag or aluminum plate
between the teeth of the drive gear and
primary driven gear.
Take care not to damage the gear teeth.
13.Bend the lock washer tab along the nut
flats.
14.Install:
Dowel pin 1
Gasket 2 (crankcase cover)
15.Install:
Crankcase cover 1 (right)
Bolt (crankcase cover):
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft • lb)
NOTE:
Tighten the bolts (crankcase cover) in a
criss-cross pattern.

OIL FILTER

1.Apply:
4-stroke engine oil
(to the oil filter and into the oil passage)
2.Install:
Oil filter 1
O-rings 2
Oil filter cover 3
Bolt (oil filter cover):
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft • lb)
CAUTION:
Install the oil filter as shown.
