ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
VALVE AND CAMSHAFT
1.Deburr:
Valve stem end
Use an oil stone to smooth the stem end.
2.Apply:
Molybdenum disulfide oil
(onto valve stem 1 and oil seal 2)
3.Install:
Valve 1
Spring seat 2
Oil seal 3
Valve spring 4
Valve retainer 5
(into cylinder head)
NOTE:
Make sure that each valve is installed in
its original place.
Install the valve spring with the larger
pitch a facing upwards.
