Front brake
1.Install:
Piston seals 1
Pistons 2
2.Install:
Support bracket 1
NOTE:
Place the rubber boot securely in the
groove of the guide pin when installing the
caliper body.
3.Install:
Pad spring 1
Brake pads 2
Pad pins 3
Refer to "BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT".
Pad pins 3:
18 Nm (1.8 m • kg, 13 ft • lb)
4.Install:
Caliper 1
Copper washers 2
Brake hose 3
Union bolt 4
Union bolt 4:
30 Nm (3.0 m • kg, 22 ft • lb)
WARNING
Proper hose routing is essential to insure
safe motorcycle operation.
Refer to "CABLE ROUTING" in CHAPTER
2.
Always use new copper washers.
