8.4 Adapt the default setting of the inputs and outputs
When required, you can use the analog inputs as additional digital inputs.
NOTICE
Defective analog input due to overcurrent
If the analog input switch is set to "Current input" (I), a 10 V or 24 V voltage source results in an
overcurrent at the analog input. An overcurrent condition destroys the analog input.
• If you use an analog input as a digital input, then you must set the analog input switch to

Digital outputs

Function description
Interconnect the digital output with a binector output of your choice.
Binector outputs are designated in the parameter list with "BO".
Example
To output the fault message via digital output DO 1, you must connect DO 1 with the fault
message: Set p0731 = 52.3.
