Note: Failure to remove all internal packaging material before powering ON
the library will result in damage to your library.
a. Cut the plastic tie ( 1 in Figure 4-1) across the top of the picker packaging
material. DO NOT REMOVE THE TIE, YET.
Note: A hook and loop fastening strap may be used in place of the plastic
tie on some libraries.
Important: Be careful not to damage the picker assembly when removing
the following packing materials. DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE
FORCE.
b. Remove the cardboard packaging material ( 2 in Figure 4-1) ), the foam
packaging material ( 3 in Figure 4-1) ), and the small cardboard packaging
material (not shown in picture).
Important: There are library signal cables very near the raised metal loop
on the right hand side of the control module floor. Be careful
not to cut or damage these cables when removing the plastic tie
pieces in the next step.
