5. Install clip nuts ( 3 in Figure 3-12 on page 3-13) for vertical rack rails with
round holes or cage nuts ( 4 in Figure 3-12 on page 3-13) for vertical rack rails
with square holes in the front rack rails in the marked positions.
Follow these steps to install the Rack Mount Kit rails.
Important: Because of the weight of a multi-module library, it is strongly
recommended that you install it in the lowest position in a rack. Without
drive sleds and power supplies, a 5U control module weighs approximately
18-32 kg (39.7-70.5 lbs)
50 lbs. Without drive sleds and power supplies, each 9U expansion module
weighs approximately 65 lbs.
