Group identifier

A group identifier is a number assigned to a particular community of IP phone users in an
organization. The group identifier number can be a number from 0 to 999 and the default number
is 0.
With a group identifier, you can provide administration settings to each phone used by different
communities of end users. For example, you might want to group users by time zones or work
activities.
You can configure group identifier from the phone UI as a local administration process.
