cnfilmi

Configure ILMI
Use the cnfilmi command to configure Interim Local Management Interface (ILMI) for an ATM port or
IMA group.
Syntax
cnfilmi <port_num> <signalling_type> <vpi> <vci> <trap_enb> <min_trap_intv> <keep_alive>

Enter the port number for the ATM port or IMA group you want to configure.
To display a list of configured ports, enter the dspports command.
Enable or disable ILMI signaling by selecting one of the following signal types:
Other = 1
No signaling = 2 (default value)
ILMI signaling = 3
Note
ILMI must be enabled on the ATM ports or IMA groups at both ends of
a physical connection before ATM communications can take place.
The default ILMI signaling VPI is 0. To select a different VPI, enter a VPI
number in the range from 0 to 255.
The default ILMI signaling VCI is 16. To select a different VCI, enter a VCI
number in the range from 0 to 65535. For virtual path connections, enter *.
To enable ILMI traps, enter 2. To disable ILMI traps, enter 1.
The default ILMI minimum trap interval is 1 second. To change the minimum
trap interval, enter a number in the range from 1 to 10 seconds.
ILMI keep alive polling is disabled by default. To enable this feature, enter 2.
To disable this feature, enter 1.
ILMI address registration is disabled by default. To enable this feature, enter 2.
To disable this feature, enter 1.
