cnfupcrtvbr

Configure UPC rtVBR
Use the cnfupcrtvbr command to configure Usage Parameter Control (UPC) parameters for real-time
Variable Bit Rate (VBR) connections on the current AUSM.
Connections with the service type rt-VBR are appropriate for real-time voice and video applications that
require tightly constrained delay and delay variation. The rt-VBR connections are characterized in terms
of peak cell rate (PCR), Sustainable Cell Rate (SCR) and maximum burst size (MBS). Sources are
expected to transmit at a rate that varies with time. Cells that are delayed beyond a certain limit
(maxCTD) are assumed to be of significantly reduced value to the application.
Syntax
cnfupcrtvbr <port_num.vpi.vci | channel_num> <enable|disable> <pcr[0+1]> <cdvt[0+1]> <scr_mcr>
<scr-mcr_policing> <MBS> <IngPcUtil> <EgSrvRate> <EgPcUtil> <clp_tag>

Enter the port number for the connection you want to modify. To display a list
of configured ports, enter the dspports command. To display a complete list of
connections, enter the dspcons command.
Enter the VPI of the connection you want to modify. The VPI for a connection
is displayed in the dspcons command report.
Enter the VCI of the connection you want to modify. The VCI for a connection
is displayed in the dspcons command report.
Enter the channel number of the connection you want to modify. The dspcons
command displays connection channel numbers in the LCN column.
Enables or disables UPC for rtVBR traffic. The following are the values:
1: disable
2: enable
Peak cell rate for cells with CLP = 0 and CLP = 1. The range depends on the
speed of the logical port:
T1 = 10 to 3622
E1 = 10 to 4528
Clear E1 = 10 to 4830
IMA T1 = 10 to (3591 * number_of_lines)
IMA E1 = 10 to (4490 * number_of_lines)
IMA clear E1 = 10 to (4789 * number_of_lines)
An IMA group's range depends on the number of links in the group.
Note
Multiply the single line rate by the number of lines.
Enter the Cell Delay Variation Tolerance for cells with CLP = 0 and CLP = 1.
The range is 1 to 250000 microseconds.
