Oil Pressure Regulator; Oil Strainer - Suzuki GSX-R1000 2007 Service Manual

OIL PRESSURE REGULATOR

REMOVAL
• Remove the oil pressure regulator case  from the oil pan.
• Remove the oil pressure regulator .
INSPECTION
• Inspect the operation of the oil pressure regulator by pushing
on the piston with a proper bar.
• If the piston does not operate, replace the oil pressure regula-
tor with a new one.
INSTALLATION
• Apply grease to the O-ring.
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
Use new O-ring to prevent oil leakage.
• Press in the oil pressure regulator  to the oil pan.
• Install the oil pressure regulator case .

OIL STRAINER

• Inspect the oil strainer body for damage.
• Clean the oil strainer if necessary.
