6-6 EXHAUST SYSTEM

EXCVA INSTALLATION

• Install the EXCVA pulley to the shaft.
NOTE:
Align the shaft's line " and cable slots # as shown.
• Hold the EXCVA pulley with an adjustable wrench, and then
tighten the EXCVA pulley mounting bolt to the specified
torque.
" EXCVA pulley mounting bolt: 5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.5 lb-ft)
When loosening or tightening the pulley bolt, be sure
to fix the pulley with an adjustable wrench, or EXCVA
may get damaged.
• Connect the No.1 cable
(21H0OP) to the EXCVA pulley.
The cable slots of EXCVA pulley must be located
adjustment position. ( 6-4)
• Tighten the EXCVA mounting bolts to the specified torque.
" EXCVA mounting bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
(21H0CL) and No.2 cable
