Master Cylinder Disassembly; Master Cylinder Inspection - Suzuki GSX-R1000 2007 Service Manual

MASTER CYLINDER DISASSEMBLY

• Remove the reservoir cap, insulator , diaphragm  and
reservoir tank .
• Remove the connector  by removing the screw.
• Remove the O-ring .
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
• Pull out the dust boot , then remove the snap ring .
09900-06108: Snap ring pliers
• Remove the push rod , piston/primary cup  and spring .

MASTER CYLINDER INSPECTION

CYLINDER, PISTON AND CUP SET
• Inspect the cylinder bore wall for any scratches or other dam-
age.
• Inspect the cup set and each rubber part for damage.
