6-8 Installing and Using Utilities

Starting

The following two methods are available to start the server.
Running NEC EXPRESSBUILDER from the management PC via LAN
Running NEC EXPRESSBUILDER from the management PC via direct connection
(COM B)
Refer to "NEC DianaScope Online Document" for the procedure for starting DOS-based NEC
EXPRESSBUILDER with Remote Console.
IMPORTANT:
Do not change the boot device order in the BOOT menu in BIOS
SETUP. NEC EXPRESSBUILDER cannot be used if the
CD-ROM drive is not the first device to launch the system.
To use this feature, you need a 3.5-inch floppy disk. Please prepare
the floppy disk.
