Powering-off of Blade Server

Turn off the power as described in the following procedure. If a power cord of the Blade Assembly
Unit is connected to the UPS, refer to the manual shipped with the UPS or the manual of the
application controlling the UPS.
1.
Shut down from the OS.

<When the auto power-off of the CPU blade is not set>
Remove the rear fan of the Blade Assembly Unit and press the POWER switch on the
CPU blade.
The POWER lamp on the CPU blade goes off when the switch is pressed.
<When the power of the entire system is turned off>
Shut down all the CPU blades installed on the Blade Assembly Unit, turn off the power,
and then set the POWER switch on the front face of the Blade Assembly Unit to OFF.
