Control
Description
1: Device
Assign a specific name for this device in the network. In the Device
Name text box, click the Launch Dialog button to edit the device
Name
name using the on-screen keyboard.
IP Address
This is a unique address assigned for a specific device and site. The
first three octets of the IP address identify the network to which the
device belongs; the last octet identifies the specific device.

Subnet Mask

All IP addresses for a network belong to the same Net Mask (also
called a Subnet Mask) as defined by the network administrator.
Gateway
This is a site specific network address and is common for Ethernet
Management and Service Ethernet ports.
Click the Apply button to implement the current Ethernet configura-

tion settings.
Serial Speed
In the Serial Speed list, select the serial port baud rate. The default
value is 9600.

Select the Enable SNMP check box to enable the SNMP agent. By

default, the check box is clear meaning SNMP is off (no Traps sent)

Select between SNMP v2 and v3 protocol.

Management
The SNMP management IP address where traps and notifies will be
sent.

Download
Click the Download MIB to USB button to launch a License Agree-
ment dialog to accept or reject certain conditions before downloading
MIB to USB
the SNMP Management Information Base (MIB) file to a USB drive.
Apply
Click the Apply button to launch an editable version of the manage-
ment IP Control and send SNMP traps to.
Serial Access
In the Serial Access list, select the degree of permission to grant serial
access.
Ethernet
In the Ethernet Access list, select the degree of permission to grant
Ethernet access.
