User Guidelines
The value of this parameter should be larger than the IGMP Max Response
Time value inserted into general query messages by the querier. The default
IGMP Max Response Time is defined in RFC 3376 as 10 seconds. DNOS
queriers use this value when sending general query messages.
Use the show ip igmp snooping querier vlan command to display the
operational max response time value.
Example
The following example sets the query interval to 1800:
console(config)#ip igmp snooping querier query_interval 1800

ip igmp snooping querier timer expiry

This command sets the IGMP Querier timer expiration period which is the
time period that the switch remains in Non-Querier mode after it has
discovered that there is a Multicast Querier in the network. The no form of
this command sets the IGMP Querier timer expiration period to its default
value.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping querier timer expiry
no ip igmp snooping querier timer expiry
seconds — The time in seconds that the switch remains in Non-Querier
mode after it has discovered that there is a multicast querier in the
network. The range is 60–300 seconds.
Default Configuration
The query interval default is 60 seconds.
