Message that keeps the authentication parameters
Request to get network statistics
Request to stop the current capture, keeping the device open
Wireshark replies supported are:
Reply which sends the list of all the remote interfaces
Reply that remote device has been opened correctly
Reply that capturing has started correctly
Reply that says 'ok, authorization successful'
Reply that keeps the network statistics
Reply that confirms capturing stopped successfully
Remote packet capture is not supported for packets received via out-of-band
port.
Example
Configure capture for Wireshark remote access on port 2020:
console(config)#monitor capture remote port 2020
Copy the local capture file to a TFTP server
console#copy flash://cpuPktCapture.pcap tftp://10.267.9.99/mypkts.pcap

monitor capture (Privileged Exec)

Use the monitor capture command to capture packets transmitted or
received from the CPU. This facility captures switch control plane traffic and
is useful in monitoring network control traffic and analyzing network security.
Remote packet capture is not supported when the packets are received via
Service Port.
Syntax
monitor capture {start [transmit | receive | all] | stop}
Transmit—Capture packets transmitted by the switch CPU.
Receive—Capture packets forwarded to the switch CPU.
All—Capture both transmitted and received packets.
